About Heather-Bear

I’m Heather, the mom and creative behind Heather-Bear, and event host for the Athens, Georgia area. Growing up, “Heatherbear” was my nickname—a name tied to comfort, big hugs, and feeling cared for. Years later, that nickname became the inspiration for a party experience built around those same ideas.

Heatherbear offers mobile build-your-own plushie parties designed to be hands-on, fun, and easy for families to host. Each guest creates, stuffs, and adopts their own plushie, turning the party into an interactive experience rather than just another activity. Every detail—from the fluff and fabric heart to the decorated shirt and adoption certificate—is thoughtfully planned to be engaging for kids (or kids at heart!) and low-stress for parents and party hosts.

And I’m Sharon, twin sister to Heather, and your Heather-Bear event host for the Jacksonville, Florida area! As moms, we know how important it is for celebrations to feel both special and manageable. Heather-Bear brings everything needed for the experience, including setup and cleanup, so families can relax while guests create a keepsake they’ll love long after the party ends.
